Enoch was “Raptured” (‘caught up’ to heaven) before the great Flood came; that is before the judgment of God was poured out upon the Earth (Genesis 5 & 6). Enoch is seen as a ‘type’ of the Church, the Bride, who walked with God by faith, and was raptured. Hebrews 11:5 tells us “By Faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death”. – Now Noah is a ‘type’ of the 144,000 (Rev. 7 & 14), and Noah found Grace in the eyes of the Lord, and was kept safe through the Wrath of the Lamb (Rev.6) which is God’s Judgement during the Great Tribulation.
