Sun 10AM Oct.29 – “The Called of Christ” – Romans 1 – CD#1665

]Romans1

In the Gospel – the good news of what Jesus has done for us – we experience the righteousness of God that comes by faith (Romans 1). This righteousness is in direct contrast with human righteousness, which is by works.  The Jews tried to be righteous in their own efforts. But Jesus said it would take more than that to get to heaven (Matt.5:20).    When we accept the call of Christ as our Savior by faith, He gives us His righteousness, and so we are not ashamed to declare that it has nothing to do with us, but it has everything to do with Jesus Christ.    If I stand in my own righteousness, I will stand ashamed. But when I stand in God’s righteousness, I am not ashamed.

10AM Sun.22, “Working With God’s Spirit” – Acts 28: – CD#1664

Acts28end

God’s Spirit was working all that was happening to Paul for God’s good purpose (Acts 28 & Rom.8:28). If the viper had not bitten Paul the people of Malta would not have noticed Paul. That incident opened the door for Paul to be able to minister to the people because they looked up to him, and saw the power of God was upon his life.       Christians must be careful not to make ‘snap judgments’ in our own life situations. God is at work and He has a purpose in all that happens to His Children. Even through the storms God will guide us to those people & places where He knows there is a need for ministry. A ministry opened up to Paul, and many sick people were healed. And Paul was also able to share the Gospel of Christ with many.

10AM Sun.15,2017 “The Fruit of Faith In Jesus” Acts 28 – CD#1663 – We are so very thankful for the power of God’s Spirit that has kept His own through this fire of 2017 – Thank you Brothers & Sisters – and continue to pray in the Spirit .

The End of The Beginning

Paul’s faith in Jesus Christ brought him through many storms, even as a prisoner in Rome (Acts 28).    The result of Paul’s faith was the priceless letters God’s Holy Spirit wrote through Paul to His Bride, the church.   Think what the church would have lost if we didn’t have the letters to the Ephesians, or Philippians, or the Colossians, or that little letter to Philemon.   God brought the Apostle to Rome in chains to bring the Gospel to the lost. God also left Paul in chains so he would have time to write the letters which were not only a blessing to those churches but have been a blessing to Christians for over two thousand years.  We are blessed today because Paul was faithful to God through many Storms. God has called us to be faithful to His Will no matter what storms may hit.

10AM Sun.10/8 “Faith Through The Storm” – Acts 27 – CD#1662

[/audio]Acts27

In Acts 27 Jesus encouraged Paul in the middle of a storm at sea. He assured Paul of his mission; “You must be brought before Caesar…”  Paul had the word of God that he was going to Rome.  It is wonderful to have that assurance regarding your purpose for life. When the storms of life hit us, we are prone to give up. But when we are anxious and have doubts, we can rest on the promises of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He told Paul; “You shall bear witness of Me in Rome.”  Paul believed God’s word that it would be just as He said. Paul had Faith in Christ!  So it should be with every Bible believing Christian.  God knows the plans He has for your life, His plans are for good and not evil, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
