After Stephen was stoned to death, Paul led the persecution of the church. He wreaked havoc on the church in Jerusalem. As a result of the persecution that Paul led, the disciples were spread throughout Judea. One of those who had to flee Jerusalem because of Paul was Philip. He went to Samaria. He preached to the Ethiopian eunuch. Here in Acts 21, Philip, 20 years later, hosted Paul at his home in Caesarea.
