2/26/17 -“The Fundamental Christian” – Acts 2:38-47 – CD#1635

The Fundamentalist Christian will help people experience the Love of God; and feel welcome in the Family of God. They will encourage people to learn and grow in the knowledge of Christ. These Christians are motivated by Jesus; learning, and growing in Him, and they demonstrate their love for Him (Acts 2). The Fundamental Christian in this world has solid, Biblical teaching as their foundation. They proclaim the holiness of God, and the blood of Jesus Christ. Through their actions they teach others how to worship, how to deal with sin, and how to love one another. They also teach others about God’s precepts for knowledge and living! All of this preaching and teaching is done through the power of the Holy Spirit, with conviction, and with eagerness to live for Christ. There is clarity as they share the un-compromised Word of God. The Fundamental Christian does not dilute God’s Word or distort the Gospel message. The basic Christian life is always centered on the Person of Jesus Christ, His Life, Death and His Resurrection! Feb.19,2017 – “God’s Word=God’s Plan” – Acts 2 – CD#1634

Peter said the events that happened on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, fulfilled the prophecy of Joel (Acts 2). It is very important that we are able to give people a scriptural basis for what is happening in the church. We should stay away from any activities for which there is no solid scriptural basis.                                                                          One of the problems today is that there are lots of things taking place in the church for which there is no scriptural support. We should question the validity of these things. Unless there is a scriptural basis for them, these things must be attributed to psychological or metaphysical phenomenon. If there is no scriptural base we are on dangerous ground.  And we cannot use experience or feelings as a gauge for truth because people come up with all kinds of weird experiences. The Bible is our basis for truth. If we stand on the Word of God, we are standing on solid ground. Sorry about the audio noise can’t figure it .

2/12/2017 – “The Acts of The Holy Spirit” -Acts 1 – CD#1633

LUKE’S GOSPEL PRESENTS THE BEGINNING OF JESUS’ MINISTRY.  The Book of Acts is also written by Luke, & continues the history of Christ’ ministry. Jesus ministry did not end with His ascension! Jesus continued to heal; He continued to work. Jesus continued to pour out His grace, & Love. However, in the Book of Acts, He did it by the power of God, the Holy Spirit, through His apostles. In that sense, the Book of Acts is an open-ended book because the Lord, Jesus continues His work to the present day through His Bride, the Church, because they are people filled with His Holy Spirit. The final chapter of the Book of Acts has not been written yet.   Sorry for the audio.

2/5/17 “The Spirit & The Bride” – Rev.22:12-21 * CD#1632

“The Spirit & the Bride of Christ say, ‘Come!” And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires let him take the water of life freely” (Rev.22:17).

God’s Holy Spirit invites all who are willing. Come to Jesus & receive forgiveness & new life. The Bride of Christ says Come & receive God’s love. Come & become a child of God. Come to Jesus & be blessed as an heir of God, a joint heir through Jesus Christ.

The offer is open to everyone because “God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Pet 3:9). God created all of us with a free will to choose. You can determine your future by freely coming to Christ. God has made it simple, but He has left it up to you. You will have no excuse for rejecting His offer of salvation. Whoever desires, take of the water of life freely. Will you come to Jesus today?
