Sun. 10am Nov. 27, 2016 “Mystery Babylon”-Rev.17 – CD#1624

rev17

Mystery Babylon is pictured as a Harlot who corrupts the leaders of the world. The image of a Harlot is used to describe Christians who wander into, and accept false teaching, betraying Jesus Christ who loves them. Here in Rev. 17 we see the Harlot compromising with the Beast.    This Mother of Harlots is connected with the ten kings of the revived Roman Empire, and is centered in Rome (Daniel 9). Rome was built on seven hills and is clearly defined in verse 9. It is important to remember that the corrupt system coming out of Rome will be the church that will exists after the Rapture, when Christ catches away His Bride.   When you take all the Christians out of any church, what is left will be horrific. And is called “Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots…”

Nov.20,2016 “The Righteous Wrath of the Lamb” – Rev. 16 – CD#1623

rev16

The wrath of The Lamb is righteous. (Rev.16) But we also see mankind’s constant rebellion as they “blasphemed” their Maker, and “did not repent.”

God’s judgement is absolutely righteous because man’s stubbornness is so hard and unyielding.  The Father has done everything He can do to save mankind. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for mankind. And yet, even when they experience the results of their sin, some of them will not repent. Nothing God does can bring them to repentance, so they must be sentenced to everlasting punishment. There is no other righteous thing God can do.

Nov. 13, 2016 “Jesus Is Just & True” Rev.15 – CD#1622

rev15

Throughout the account of the wrath of The Lamb while judging the world, we read of the horrible devastation that will occur. But we are reminded again and again that what God is fair; “Just & True are Your ways, O King of the saints!” (Rev.15)                                  No one can really accuse God of not being fair. There may be things that don’t look fair to us, but we don’t know the whole story, and we can’t know the hearts. However when the whole story has been told, we will all declare with the heavenly hosts that God is Just & True.                                                                 There are many things I don’t know, and things I don’t understand. But one thing I know for sure; when Jesus wraps it all up it will be clear to everyone that His judgments are righteous. In the end all will see just how right He is.

Nov. 6, 2016 “Forever is Eternity” Rev. 14 – CD#1621

rev14

The Torment of those who reject the Grace of Jesus Christ will last forever and ever. Some people find it hard to believe that Judge Jesus will sentence rebellious, Christ-rejecting people to be tormented for eternity. Many people find it hard to believe in eternal punishment.  But don’t ask me to take away from God’s Word! Revelation 22:19 says: if “..anyone takes away from the Word of God, God will take away his part from the Book of Life…”  You don’t want that to happen to me, do you?   I am going to leave God’s Word as it stands.    Some have even asked: “But how long is forever?”    In Revelation 15:7 we read that God is called the One who lives forever and ever.” So the punishment will last as long as God lives.
